Katsuobushi is a dried product of cold-water fish (mainly produced in the tundra). Because it looks like a firewood bar, it is called "Chai Yu" by the Cantonese. The Katsuobushi is also called 'Dried Bonito stick' or ‘Dried Skipjack Tuna’. The dried meat of the dried fish is golden and the meat is silky and tender. The dried fish has golden flesh and silky tender meat.

Suitable to cook soup or porridge.
Amount to use: Approx. 40-80g, can adjust the amount use according to personal requirement.
Patients with gout, haemorrhagic disease and cirrhosis should not consume Katsuobushi.
