Job’s Tears, also known Semen Coicis, is widely planted in China, Japan, and Vietnam. It is a traditional medicine and food grain resource and is known as the "king of the world's grasses". Semen Coicis is a gramineous plant and is an annual or perennial herb. When the autumn fruit matures, the plants are cut, dried, and take the fruit down, then dried to remove the shell, tawny seed coat and impurities, and to collect the kernels, which is the Semen Coicis we often see every day.
